please tell me Rockstar learned something from GTA V's launch mess

GTA V's online rollout was a nightmare and they've had over a decade to figure it out. If GTA VI launches and we're stuck in another queue simulator for weeks, that's going to sour the whole thing fast. They need to actually stress-test this time instead of acting shocked when millions show up day one.

They're gonna nail the launch day experience and then immediately start squeezing us harder than before, that's the real worry. History says R* learned nothing about generosity.

Server stability matters, sure, but what actually kills momentum is matchmaking. V's online was broken for weeks because finding a session that didn't crash halfway through a heist was a coin flip. If GTA VI's co-op matchmaking is smooth from day one, people will forgive queue times. That's where Rockstar needs to prove they learned something.
