Jason vs Lucia — who actually carries the emotional weight?

People keep dismissing Lucia like she's just a box check, and honestly it's frustrating because she's so much more than that. She comes out of prison already marked and broken, trying to rebuild from absolutely nothing with someone she loves, and that's a fundamentally different starting point than any GTA protagonist we've ever seen. But here's what keeps hitting me when I watch the trailers: Jason might actually be the one carrying the real emotional weight in this story. You can see the fear in his face, the way he's following Lucia's lead but constantly calculating, like he's not a natural criminal at all but got pulled into this life because he loves her. If Rockstar actually commits to that dynamic and plays it right, the ending is going to destroy us.

GTA VI Online is gonna absolutely demolish the live service market

real talk though GTA Online still pulls like a million concurrent players daily in 2026 and that game launched over a decade ago, the brand loyalty is just different. so if Rockstar doesn't completely botch the launch and keeps Shark Card prices from totally breaking the economy on day one, VI Online will legit be the biggest live service we've ever seen. the playerbase will migrate from everything else just because it's GTA and the meta will be whatever Rockstar says it is for the first year at least
