GTA VI Online is gonna absolutely demolish the live service market

real talk though GTA Online still pulls like a million concurrent players daily in 2026 and that game launched over a decade ago, the brand loyalty is just different. so if Rockstar doesn't completely botch the launch and keeps Shark Card prices from totally breaking the economy on day one, VI Online will legit be the biggest live service we've ever seen. the playerbase will migrate from everything else just because it's GTA and the meta will be whatever Rockstar says it is for the first year at least

Bro they nailed Florida in Leonida, I'm not kidding

I'm from Miami and like, I've literally driven those roads they recreated and it's honestly kind of freaky how accurate it is. The trailer shows all these strip malls with that specific washed out pastel vibe, the flat horizon with palm trees running down every suburban street here, the way those afternoon storms just roll in from the Everglades side of things, and boats everywhere because like, that's just what we do in Florida, we live on the water. I could recognize specific feels from Coconut Grove, Wynwood, the Keys, all that. I'm telling you, Rockstar really did their homework with this one.
